Abstract

This service aims to identify and analyze efforts to increase the effectiveness of extracurricular activities to increase student participation at kelas V di UPT SDN Percobaan Medan. This service was carried out on May 25 2024. The subjects in this research were kelas V di UPT SDN Percobaan Medan. This service is a class action carried out in the classroom by displaying power points regarding extracurricular activities and observing students during the process of carrying out service activities. A crucial component of education, extracurricular activities help kids develop non-academic abilities like social, emotional, and physical capabilities. The study employs a qualitative methodology, gathering data via document analysis and observation. Participants in this service consist of students, supervisory teachers, and school management.The implementation of these efforts is expected to increase student participation in extracurricular activities at kelas V di UPT SDN Percobaan Medan, thereby having a positive impact on their personal and academic development and can have an effect on improving learning outcomes.
