Abstract

This purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between government spending in the social assistance sector, health sector, and economic growth on the human development index in Jombang Regency Secondary data is used in the study in the form of time series from 2013 to 2023. The method used is multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach. The research findings show that government spending in the social assistance sector and economic growth have an influence on the human development index. However, the variable of government expenditure in the health sector does not affect the human development index in Jombang Regency.
