Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Indonesia’s military logistics system through the lens of the 3Cs framework: Commonality, Consumption, and Capacity. As an archipelagic nation facing diversity security challenges, an integrated, agile, and resilient defense logistics system is vital. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology and secondary data, the research explores how Indonesia’s logistics align with the 3Cs model. Findings reveal progress in joint logistics operations and initiatives like Kogabwilhan, SISLOGNAS, and Garuda Shield. However, persistent challenges include fragmented digital systems, infrastructure limitations, and budget constraints. The study underscores the need for greater standardization, improved demand forecasting, and sustained investment in logistics capacity. Integrating the 3Cs can enhance Indonesia’s military readiness, operational efficiency, and strategic response capabilities, offering practical insights for defense partners.
