Abstract

This study aims to see how much influence the population, TPT, and GRDP have on the poverty rate in Sumatra Island. This study applies the panel data regression method with a coverage area of ten provinces in Sumatra Island during the period 2016 to 2023. The REM model was chosen as the most appropriate approach. The results of the study show that the three variables have a positive and significant influence on the poverty rate in the region.
